Modeling massage — massagem modeladora, as most of our Brazilian clients call it — is done here by Elis, and only by Elis. She is a certified massage therapist with specialized training in post-operative and manual lymphatic drainage work, and this sits alongside that side of what she does.
We are on Wilson Avenue in the middle of Newark's Ironbound, a short walk from Penn Station and a few minutes from Kearny and Harrison. Elis works in a private room, by appointment, Monday to Saturday, in Portuguese or English.
How the work is decided
There is no fixed routine published on this page, and that is deliberate rather than an omission. What a session involves depends on you, and Elis works that out with you directly rather than applying the same thing to everybody.
That conversation happens before anything is booked. It costs nothing, it is not a sales appointment, and if she thinks something else would serve you better she will say so — the same way she does with post-operative clients.
If you are recovering from surgery, say so at that first conversation. Elis will want to know where you are in your recovery and what your surgeon has told you before she plans anything at all.
Booked by the session
Modeling massage is booked one session at a time. Packages exist, and they are worth asking about if you are planning a run of appointments rather than a single visit.
We do not publish package prices here, because the honest answer depends on how many sessions you are actually planning and what you and Elis agree between you. Message her and ask — she will tell you plainly.
Sessions are by appointment. Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM, in a private room at the back of the studio.
