Who We Are

What You Give Us Directly

If you use the contact form we receive your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, the service you selected, and your message. If you contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email, we hold whatever is in that conversation.

We use it to answer you and to arrange appointments, and nothing else. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for anyone else's marketing.

Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, our hosting provider, and forwarded to us by email.

What Is Collected Automatically

Two analytics tools run on every page of this site.

Google Analytics 4 records pages viewed, roughly how long you stay, how you arrived, approximate location from your IP address (usually city level), and general device and browser type. It sets cookies to tell repeat visits from new ones. Google shortens IP addresses, and we have not enabled any advertising or remarketing features.

Microsoft Clarity records how people move through pages — mouse movement, clicks, scrolling and session replays — so we can see where the site is confusing. Clarity may capture what is displayed on screen during your visit. We do not use it to identify individuals, and we ask you not to type sensitive information into any field on this site.

The map on our homepage is embedded from Google Maps, which may set its own cookies when the page loads.

We do not run advertising or remarketing pixels of any kind.

How to Opt Out

Analytics is not required to use this site. Any of the following will stop it:

• Google provides an official opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
• Blocking cookies, or using private browsing, stops both tools in most browsers.
• Firefox, Safari and Brave block much of this by default in their tracking-protection settings, and a content blocker will stop the rest.
• Sending a Global Privacy Control signal, which some browsers and extensions do automatically, tells sites you are opting out.

Clarity has no dedicated opt-out link. The browser controls above are how you decline it.

How Long We Keep Things

Enquiries are kept while we are in contact and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records. Analytics data is retained on Google's and Microsoft's standard schedules. Ask us and we will delete your enquiry.

Your Rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. New Jersey residents have rights under the New Jersey Data Privacy Act. Email lushatelierbeautysalon@gmail.com and we will respond.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Links Elsewhere

Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Google Maps have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.

Changes to This Policy

We will update the date at the top of this page when this policy changes.
